By using Applications rules, you can block applications by their names, captions, and how they were launched (i.e. from the command line):
If you're unfamiliar with the steps to create a rule, please first refer to the How to create a behavior policy article to create a policy and then How to create a behavior rule for the steps to create a rule inside a new or existing policy.
1. From the main menu, select BEHAVIOR > Policies
2. Click the ADD RULE FOR THIS POLICY link.
3. From the Rules Editor's General tab, select Activity under Rules Category.
4. Select Applications under the Types of Activities.
5. Select the user(s) the rule will apply to from the User tab.
6. From the Applications tab, specify the conditions for the Name, Caption, Launched from CLI, or Run Elevated options.
7. Select an action to take when the rule is violated.
