Please do not delete the Teramind folder or files manually or use Windows'/Mac’s built-in app remover or any other third-party uninstallers to remove the Teramind Agent. Use the following methods to remove the Agent instead.

Local Uninstallation
Windows
To uninstall the Agent, run the Teramind Agent Removal Tool:
Cloud customers can download it from: https://teramind.co/d/teramind-remover.exe.
On-Premise or Private Cloud (Azure/AWS) customers can download the tool from: https://www.teramind.co/portal.
Run the remover tool on the user machine you want the agent uninstalled from.
The remover tool is not silent by default, it shows a dialogue to the user. To uninstall the agent silently use the /silent option with the command line.

Please note that, Teramind Remover tool requires Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 or higher to be installed. If you don't already have it installed, you can downloaded the framework from Microsoft’s website. After installing the .NET Framework, run the remover as an administrator again.
Mac
Run the following command in the Terminal (Applications > Utilities > Terminal) to uninstall the Agent:
sudo /usr/local/teramind/agent/bin/uninstall.sh
The above command will work for both the Revealed and Hidden Agents.
You might be prompted to remove the .NetApp system extension. Provide your credentials and click the OK button to remove the extension:
Note that, if you don’t provide the credentials, or just close the dialog, then the uninstallation process will be terminated and the Agent will not be removed.
Remote Uninstallation
Windows & Mac
If the Agent is currently reporting online on the Teramind Dashboard, then you can uninstall the Hidden/Stealth Agent remotely from the Dashboard. You can do it from the Computers or the Computer's Details screen:
To do it from the Computers screen:
Select one or more computers by clicking the Check Marks in front of their names.
Click the Computer Action Menu (where it says Select action) on top and select the Uninstall Agent from PC option.
To do it from the Computer's Details screen:
First, click the name of a computer from the Computers screen. Then, press the UNINSTALL AGENT FROM PC button.
If the computer is online, it will be removed shortly. If it's offline, it will be removed when it comes online.
If you're attempting to uninstall an Agent that isn't connecting to your Dashboard at all, then a remote uninstall won't be effective and we instead recommend to follow the Local Uninstallation steps above directly from the computer.
