This is a hotfix for Windows Agent 23.47.1281 that was released on 8th December, 2023. The release fixes some bugs that were affecting some deployments.
Bug Fixes
Hidden Agent not Able to Connect
Due to a bug, sometimes the Hidden Agent wouldn't be able to connect to the server after installation. The bug is fixed now.
The Agent Service would Fail to Start on Some Windows Versions
Due to a bug, the Agent Service (tsvchst) would fail to start on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2016 after the Agent installation. As a result, the computer/user wouldn't be monitored.
If you tried to check the service, with the command sc query tsvchst, you would see an error message, "Service 'Service Host' (tsvchst) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.":
The bug is fixed now.
