Yes, video capture can be configured to record only based on the activities detected, such as when a policy/rule is violated.

To do so:

  1. First, enable the RECORD ONLY WHEN BEHAVIOR RULE WAS VIOLATED option on the Screen monitoring settings.

  2. Then use the RECORD VIDEO rule action to capture the screen only when a rule is violated.
