Improvements

  • Faster Behavior Policy Updates After Department Changes: When you move an employee to another department, the behavior policies for the new department now apply within about a minute.

  • Fewer Repeat Alerts and Lower Memory Use for Content Sharing Rules: Large Content Sharing rules now use much less server memory. For a Keystrokes rule that lists several keywords, only one alert is triggered instead of one for each keyword. This keeps the Behavior Alerts list shorter and easier to review.

  • Faster Screen Recording Processing Under Heavy Load: The server processes screen recordings more efficiently, which reduces CPU usage and screen recording delays at busy times. It also prevents server restarts when many screens are recorded at once.

  • More Reliable Agent Connections Under Heavy Load: Agents now connect reliably even when the server is busy, instead of staying offline.

  • Faster Recovery When a Server Process Stops Responding: A server process that stops responding now shuts down in about a minute instead of up to an hour, so service is back sooner.

Bug Fixes

  • Agent Reconnects: Fixed rare monitoring gaps when an Agent quickly reconnected after a network interruption. Sessions that used to stay stuck after a reconnect now resume normally, so monitoring continues without gaps.

  • Disk Space on Self-Hosted Servers: Fixed an issue, introduced in Teramind Update (TMU) 919, where the server wrote its log output into lock files, which could grow to gigabytes and fill the app server’s disk on self-hosted/on-premises deployments.

  • AI Chat Attachments: Fixed an issue where AI chat messages with very long attachment file names, such as cloud drive file IDs, weren’t saved in AI usage monitoring.

  • Mac Screen Recording Errors: Fixed an issue where screen recording data from Mac Agents on unstable network connections caused repeated server errors and could crash the server.

Security & Stability

This release also includes general hardening and stability fixes across the server.
